Since 2002 his Clinical and Research interests have focused specifically on the diagnosis and treatment, both individual and in groups, of subjects with Personality Disorders and extending to the Clinical Health Psychology, with special attention to the psychosocial aspects involved with HIV+ people.
In these fields he has contributed to the Italian translation and validation of several tools deriving from international scientific research for psychological and personality assessment, the most recent of which are: Dimensional Assessment of Personality Pathology - Basic Questionnaire (DAPP-BQ), Inventory of Interpersonal problems-47 for Personality Disorders (IIP-47), Big Five Inventory (BFI), Severity Indices of Personality Problems (SIPP), Healthy Functioning Rating Scale - SWAP-200 (HFRS-SWAP-200) and Multidimensional Health locus of Control - Form C (MHLC-C).
From the academic year 2004-2005 to 2007-2008, he was Teaching Assistant / Teaching Fellow of Psycho-sexology, Test Theory and Techniques, Personality Test Theory and Techniques and Personality Assessment Techniques at the School of Psychology of the San Raffaele Vita-Salute University of Milan. During the academic year 2007-2008 he was a part–time Lecturer in Personality Assessment Techniques at the same Faculty.
Dr. Alessandro Ubbiali is a member of the International Society for the Study of Personality Disorders (ISSPD), the International Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR) and the International Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI).
He is the Author of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Articles, of several conference papers at National and International Congress, and has been a referee for the international journals: ‘Psychology, Health & Medicine’, ‘AIDS Care’ (Routledge, Tayolor & Francis Group) and ‘Psychosomatic Research’ (Elsevier).
In 2009 and 2011 he was cited in the prestigious international publication “Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare” (7th & 8th Edition).
From 2013 he was selected to appear in “Who's Who in the World 2014” (31st Edition).

Dr. Alessandro Ubbiali is a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and practices in Milan as Psychotherapist Dynamically Oriented.
He graduated in Psychology, in the field of Clinical and Community Psychology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan and completed his specialization at the School of Clinical Psychology at the same University.
He began his training at the Centre for Research and Treatment of Anxiety-related Disorders of the H San Raffaele Turro Institute’s Department of Neuropsychiatry in Milan, gaining a deeper knowledge of the clinical and neuropsychological aspects of Axis I diagnoses included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), with particular attention to Eating Disorders and the Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders.
